Faith It Out Friday’s
Hello Guys, Gals, Boys & Girls! Hello to those of you who are young, Hello to those of you who carry wisdom with age…
If you’re reading this post for the first time than I say to you GOD BLESS YOU!
This post that I am writing you today came about when I was commenting on a friends blog about some of the ways the world has viewed the current U.S. President. Now I’m not going to steal her post because I am a Christian and I believe in the commandment of Thou Shalt Not Steal.
However what I will do is I will post a link down below after this post is done.
“Hopefully she sends me royalty checks in the mail later…. I like to get paid in Mike and Ike’s.”
All joking aside the reason I have chosen to write a post today is because I feel as though I have somewhat abandoned my readers. So I wanted to take time to say Hi but also talk to all of you about a very serious epidemic that is affecting the World and it’s main target is Christians… I also wanted to simplify my message without having too many theories and more and more of the Word. FYI Project Bible 365 is no more… Instead that title is getting revamped Hence “Faithing It Out Friday.” The reason for this because I wanted to create a project that I could give more of a Central focus on my Master, Jesus…
Don’t look at this as the end of Project Bible however look at this as advancing in faith. Switching from Milk To Meat…
So without further ado let’s get to the topic at hand.
There is a problem in the world today and it’s not pertaining to a Gluten FREE diet. It’s pertaining the use of time we give to our phones, computers, televisions and even people. vs How much time we give to Jesus. That’s right I asked you all a question. How much time do we as people actually give to Jesus?
Hence the reason for this title of this post. ” Less Screen Time More Jesus Time.”
I wanted to take time to discuss this topic because in this day and age we as people are connected to the masses by the way of a blue internet cable connection.
Due to that fact we sometimes think being connected to Corey in Canada and Kasey in Kentucky is such a cool thing because of inventions like Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat YouTube, Instagram and more… Believe me there is more, the one’s I listed are just familiar with everybody. My question to the masses of Christians and my question to the world is this… The more we become connected to social media sites, the less we become connected to Jesus. Is this at all possible?
I am a man who loves to tithe to God. Tithing to God puts a smile on my face. I also like tithe my time unto God and the reason I like to do that is because I can’t be in church service everyday. The reason why is because I’m a Canadian who goes to church in the United States four days a week. When I’m not in the services my ears are listening God’s word, God’s Music. When I am not in service my eyes are reading God’s Word… I do all of this because of a prayer Jesus requested of his father…
John 17:14-16King James Version (KJV)
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
There are many reasons I practice what I am preached. One of the reasons include knowing yourself in Christ. Studying Christ as a whole. Studying Christ as a Man & Studying Christ as a God… That can only be done by looking at the subject getting ready for a final exam. In this end time hour we have to be watching for Jesus to come. We as Christians must keep our eyes focused on the man on the middle Cross and not what Hollywood tweets, posts and records in a video. It doesn’t matter at all what they have to say but rather when you as a Christian can begin and end your day with Jesus than you can smile all day long because you’re doing a good work…
However because the brain can only hold so much at once. It’s important not to study Jesus like you’re reading the newspaper. However it is a process of learning true and valued understanding of the Gospel can only be achieved by going step by step. It is a marathon, not a sprint. I will never understand some people and they pressure they face on a daily basis. In this time of life. There are many that believe they are more liberated than they ever have been in recent years. To some extent that may true in some cases. However as I see the vast majority walking down the streets, I can see the stress they are under simply by looking into their face. If these same people would take time to slow down, if they would simply unplug from Google searches, twitter feeds and clicking Facebook like buttons and take time to hear what the spirit is saying they would realize that Jesus can fix everything…. However the masses cannot do that because they are trying to keep up with the trendy Tommy’s and Tina’s within regards to social media.
If we just take time to study Jesus people wouldn’t need to stress out about the things we can’t control. We can simply give our burdens to the Lord.
Matthew 11:28-30King James Version (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Until next time my friends
“Be Meak, Be Humble and Be joyful…
