Project Bible 365 Day 68
Don’t Eat The Fruit Of The World
Today I pray thee that this message that I write here today stay with you.. Let the words I put forth burn upon the altar of your souls… Let this article be a blessing to those of you who truly seek a closer walk with the Lord. Let the truth of his words set you free from any and all bondage. I write this message here to warn any and all people that still believe and fear God with great reverence. A relationship with the Lord is top priority in any Christians’ life but do they know how worship God? Let this be a warning to you… Jesus is coming back, although the media won’t tell you that until 30 minutes after Rapture. I say Jesus is coming back and I say it with strong conviction and we as Christians must be watching for his return and most certainly we must be mindful of his Word. It started in Genesis and the same snake is spreading his stench to multitudes today.
Genesis 3:1-6King James Version (KJV)
3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
What this means is than “If the Lord has commanded us to do something. It is important that we heed his words. It is important that we stand on truth..”. However we first must recognize what truth is. If only Eve would have familiarized herself with God’s Word like Adam than I believe that Adam and Eve would not have eaten from the tree of death and thus I firmly believe that they would have been alive today if they didn’t eat from the tree of death. A few weeks ago I shared a true story that I dealt with the police and the court system. My parents wanted me to stop seeking God in prayer so they got a court order in to achieve that. I was left with one option go to jail or find a new house. In truth I should have studied the book of Daniel a lot more than I wouldn’t have been afraid of jail so much. I should have been more courageous and stood for truth no matter what because I was in the will of God… Instead I became weak leaning on my feelings rather than my faith… Due to the fact that I let my feelings dictate the overall outcome. I faced many unnecessary battles of the mind because I didn’t surround my mind with truth, I didn’t equip myself enough with the word to crush devils underfoot.
John 8:31-32King James Version (KJV)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18King James Version (KJV)
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
1 Peter 5:6-8King James Version (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Jonah 2King James Version (KJV)
2 Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly,
2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.
7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.
10 And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
Don’t Reach For The Things Of The World…
Child of God, if you have made a mistake, recognize it for what it is and turn from the sin. Serving God isn’t always easy or understandable. Be Quick to Repent of your sin seek the Lord with a heart full of sorrow meaning that you are as sorry for your sins as God is that you committed them. Don’t listen , to the things of the world. Don’t watch the things of this world but rather surround your mind with that which is lovely, that which is honest, that which true, that which is pure, what is just, what is a good report.
Philippians 4:8King James Version (KJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Dear reader of this message if these things have blessed you.. Than I encourage you to seek God with your whole heart. However first if you and your heart will yield to the will of God he will make you a new creation. The old self is crucified and the new you, the one that walks after the spirit is reborn through the shed blood of the lamb. Give your heart to the Lord right now and join me in saying the sinners prayer…
“Oh God, save my soul, I’m so sorry that I have sin against you but I have come home, I’m going to serve you Lord, the rest of my life… I believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart Jesus, Come on into my heart.” If you sincerely meant that prayer Jesus is now the Lord of your life. Hang onto him the rest of the journey, don’t look back to the things of the world.
Remember Lot’s wife….
Genesis 19:17-26King James Version (KJV)
17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
21 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
